This time of the year, the veil between the physical world and the spirit world is at its thinnest, which means it is easier to make contact with spirits and departed loved ones. It is a time of ritual, introspection, reflection, reverence for what once was, but also of hope and anticipation for what's to come.
This is why Samhain, Día de los Muertos and All Saint's Day are celebrated at this time of the year. We are deep in Scorpio season, the sign of death and all things spooky. 💀♏️
As such we honour Death as the great teacher of Life. We honour the never-ending cycles of death, rebirth and transformation on all planes of existence. 🌀
We honour the darkness that prevails over the land, as the way to the inner light. 🕯️

Dear sacred ones,
Thank you for the gifts, the wisdom, the knowledge, the strength, the power, the physical traits.
Thank you for the lessons, the obstacles, the pain, the trauma, the karma.
I accept them all as parts of myself that I have inherited from you. Thank you for making me who I am today.
Thank you for paving the way, so that I can walk this path today. Where you stopped, I continue walking for all of us.
Thank you for loving me, guiding me and protecting me from beyond the veil.
I honour the bloodline that runs through my veins. I am a continuation of you. Your memory lives on through me. 🩸
