Kirtan is the practice of chanting mantras (in Sanskrit, English & other languages) in a group with live music. The word mantra means “a tool for the mind”, a meditative way to harness the (hyper-)active mind through the repetition of sacred sounds and invocations. With kirtan, we cultivate devotion to something bigger than ourselves, to unconditional love, bliss and pure joy, as we open the heart space through sacred vibrations and voice activation. By bringing our voices together, we expand our hearts and experience connection to ourselves, to others & beyond. 🌈

Kirtan and mantra chanting are part of Bhakti Yoga, the yoga (way) of Devotion.

Vous êtes les bienvenues à ce rassemblement sacré qu'est le kirtan le dimanche 19 janvier à 17:00 ! 🕉️

Le kirtan est la pratique du chant de mantras (principalement en sanskrit) en groupe et une des pratiques principales du Bhakti Yoga, la voie de la Dévotion. Le mot mantra signifie « un outil pour l’esprit », un moyen méditatif de calmer l’esprit (hyper-)actif par la répétition de sons sacrés et d’invocations. Le kirtan permet de cultiver la dévotion et de nous connecter à quelque chose de plus grand que nous, à l’amour inconditionnel et à l'état de pur bonheur et de joie, car cette pratique ouvre le cœur grâce aux vibrations sacrées et à l’activation de la voix. Chanter des mantras en groupe permet d’unir nos voix et nos cœurs pour (re)trouver l’union à soi-même, aux autres et à ce qui nous entoure. 🌈

ABOUT ME

I'm an astrologer, translator and singer. With roots from England and Greece, I was raised and still live in Brussels, Belgium.

I deepened my practice of mantra singing while living with a yogic community in the Swedish forest in 2022, and have been organising kirtans in Brussels and abroad since.

My purpose is to bring people together through mantra singing circles, astrology events, meditations, conscious gatherings and other spiritual practices. I also give 1:1 astrology consultations for personal development and spiritual evolution.

A PROPOS

Je suis astrologue, traductrice et chanteuse. D'origine anglaise et grecque, j'ai grandi et je suis toujours basée à Bruxelles, en Belgique.

Je me suis plongée dans l'apprentissage et la pratique du kirtan lors de mon séjour dans une communauté yogique au cœur de la forêt suédoise en 2022. Depuis, j'organise des kirtans à Bruxelles et à l'étranger.

Mon objectif est de rassembler les personnes pour pratiquer ensemble le kirtan, l'astrologie, la méditation et d'autres pratiques spirituelles. Je donne également des consultations privées d'astrologie, qui ont pour objectif le développement personnel et l'évolution spirituelle.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If your cancellation is made at least 24 hours in advance of the event date and time, you will receive a full refund. If your cancellation is made less than 24 hours in advance, a refund will not be possible. If the event is cancelled for exceptional reasons, you will receive a full refund.
