You are warmly invited to celebrate the Winter Solstice in a special way!

Together, we will welcome the new season with purpose, attune to the wisdom of winter, connect with our inner light, celebrate with songs and cultivate heartfelt human connections.

WHAT WE WILL DO:

Winter Solstice Ritual: A ritual inspired by pagan and shamanic practices. We will honour the Sun & the Earth in their cosmic dance and attune to the wisdom of winter. With the help of the drum and objects found in nature, we will connect to the slower rhythm of winter and our bodies. In this meditative state, we will embrace the silence and stillness within, and connect with our inner light. We will then take a moment in silence to set intentions for the new season, draw an oracle card and close with a sharing.

Kirtan (Mantra Singing): Kirtan is the practice of chanting mantras (in Sanskrit, English & other languages) in a group with live music. The word mantra means “a tool for the mind”, a meditative way to harness the active mind through the repetition of sacred sounds and invocations. Kirtan opens our throat chakra and expands our heart, which helps us cultivate devotion to something higher than ourselves and connect to unconditional love, bliss, joy and inner freedom. It is a great way to connect with one's voice, creativity and inner world. No prior singing or musical experience is required!

PROGRAMME:

16:30-17:00: Doors open

17:00-17:30: Welcome circle, introductions & symbolism of the Winter Solstice

17:30-18:15: Solstice ritual

18:15-18:45: Sharing & short break

18:45-20:00: Kirtan (mantra singing) & closing circle

PRACTICAL INFORMATION:

❄️The event is open to everyone, regardless of age, gender or previous experience with such practices. Everyone is welcome!

❄️Wear comfortable clothes that allow movement. We will be sitting on mats/cushions on the floor and moving our bodies. Feel free to wear ceremonial clothes or the colours of the Winter Solstice: pine green, gold, white & brown.

❄️Please be/arrive on time, in order not to interrupt the practices. 🙏🏻

❄️The event will be held in English. French explanations can be provided if needed.

❄️Teas & hearty snacks will be provided.

If your cancellation is made at least 48 hours in advance of the event date and time, you will receive a full refund. If your cancellation is made less than 48 hours in advance, a refund will not be possible. If the event is cancelled for exceptional reasons, you will receive a full refund.

ABOUT ME:

I'm an astrologer, esoteric facilitator, translator and singer. My purpose is to bring people together through mantra singing circles, astrology events, meditations, conscious gatherings and other spiritual practices. I also give 1:1 astrology consultations for personal development and spiritual evolution. With roots from England and Greece, I am based in Brussels.
