The new year starts with a promising new Moon at 12 degrees of Capricorn. As new Moons symbolise new beginnings, this is the perfect opportunity for setting New Year’s intentions. It is a time to look back at 2021 with gratitude, to celebrate our progress and growth, and to reflect on new goals and improvements that we would like to manifest in 2022.
Capricorn is the sign of ambition, goals, long-term plans, career, social status, reputation, legacy, tradition, time, structures, foundations, order, authority and discipline. The Capricorn new Moon is a cycle that calls for practicality. It is about rearranging the circumstances of our lives as to fully allow us to live in alignment with our purpose. The new Moon in Capricorn is also about building solid new foundations and setting new structures, for both ourselves and others.
Saturn, ruler of Capricorn, is all about cultivating self-discipline, becoming one’s own authority and overcoming one’s fears. Currently in Aquarius, the sign of humanity and the collective, Saturn teaches us that we are all here on Earth to contribute in our own unique way. Jupiter entered his home sign of Pisces on 29 December and will be staying there until 10 May 2022. He will conjunct Neptune, modern ruler of Pisces, on 12 April 2022. This transit significantly marks the year 2022.
Jupiter in the sign of spirituality and the cosmic ocean helps planet Earth reach her next level of evolution and elevates humanity to higher planes of consciousness.
