2020 was not an easy year, to say the least. The past year brought many unpredictable events that we do not wish to experience again, yet there were also moments of incredible growth, development and transformation. The many months of introspection and quiet living allowed many of us to dream, to revalue, to put things into perspective, to find new interests, to find where we currently stand and to discover what we truly want out of life.
Take a moment to look back on the past year and to celebrate how far you have come, the growth you have experienced on every level, your achievements, big and small. Celebrate your mistakes and failures, for they are your greatest teachers.

This new Moon is the first one of 2021: a huge blank canvas ready to be filled with the colours of your choice. In the sign of Capricorn, now is the time to manifest the dreams of 2020. Numerologically, 2021 is a 5 year: the energy is masculine and centred around action. It is time to put your dreams the test, to lay the first foundations, to execute the plan and to work towards the goals you want to accomplish.
This new Moon cycle is not an easy one, with many squares creating challenges and roadblocks. Capricorn, however, never gives up. It teaches us to jump over obstacles and to calculate our every step in order to reach the highest peak of the tallest mountain. It knows from experience that great things are created under pressure and that hard work always pays off.
The Sun and the Moon are conjunct Pluto in Capricorn. This cycle brings great purging and cleansing, both internally and externally. Seizing this opportunity will allow us to unload heavy baggage, to let go of outdated attachments and to remove obstacles, on an individual and on a collective level, in order to move into the future as lightweight as possible.
Saturn, ruler of Capricorn, is conjunct Jupiter and Mercury in Aquarius, all of them squaring Uranus and Mars in Taurus. This clash between Gods and Titans is a spectacular prologue to the dominant aspect of 2021: Saturn in Aquarius square Uranus in Taurus. This aspect will put tremendous pressure on every aspect of society and life – a battle between the old and the new world.
2021 is the year of chaos, manifested by the number 5. Five is the Pentagram, a symbolic representation of the five elements, the five senses and the five extremities of the human body. One cannot exist without the other, and if one tries to dominate, disharmony and chaos ensue. Our collective and individual challenge is to create harmony in the midst of chaos. It is also the time to integrate and to find balance between everything and everyone. This includes reconciling the microcosm with the macrocosm, thus abiding by the universal Law of Correspondence: “As above, so below; as within, so without.”
