New Moon in Pisces, 13 March 2021

The new Moon in Pisces plunges us into an ethereal atmosphere, where abstract blends with reality, and where magic meets opportunity. The energy of this cycle is mostly Yin, allowing us to nurture our vision and prepare to give birth to it with the change of seasons.

Even though new Moons are about beginnings, the new Moon in Pisces symbolises endings, as it is the last new Moon of the astrological year. With the winter coming to an end and with spring fast approaching, now is the time to look back with gratitude, release all that needs to go and make space for the new. By connecting with our heart and aligning with our desires, we create the vision we are going to manifest in the spring. The new Moon in Pisces allows us to dream one last time before we wake up from our long hibernation and step into action.

There are currently two stellium in the Heavens: four planets in Pisces (Sun, Moon, Neptune & Venus) and three in Aquarius (Saturn, Jupiter & Mercury), the most otherworldly signs of the zodiac. Earthly matters are put on hold, as we turn to the more abstract aspect of existence. We envision a collective dream and hope for a better future. Aquarius, the lucky star, promises a new world, while Pisces teaches us to have faith in something greater than ourselves.

Unconditional love is a major theme this cycle, as Venus and Neptune conjunct in Pisces. This cycle is an opportunity to tap into this love, to discover the endless ways in which it can be expressed and to train ourselves to experience it not only as a feeling, but primarily as a state of mind.

All planets are direct in the Sky, which is a rare phenomenon. Events speed up, as if to make up for the time lost in 2020, when seven planets were retrograde at the same time. This allows us to remain active, despite the hypnotic atmosphere induced by Pisces season.

Last, but not least, Mars entered Gemini on 4 March and will be staying there until 23 April. Mars in Gemini stimulates our mind and curiosity, facilitates multitasking, helps us to learn faster and use our skills with ease. It is also a great time for networking, striking deals, acquiring new skills and negotiations. The negative traits of Mars in Gemini is aggressive speech, an overstimulated mind or nervous system, and a tendency to do things too quickly, which can lead to burnout or even physical accidents.
