HELLO OCTOBER!

October is packed astrologically! We're coming out of eclipse & equinox influence, the energies are settling down, we can now move ahead with more determination and pick up where we left off in August before the eclipses. October is a collective 1 month, a renaissance, a blank canvas you get to paint however you want.

The first half of the month, Venus takes centre stage, as she rules Libra season. She meets all of the outer planets, one way or another. On the 5th, she conjuncts the South Node in Virgo. This transit asks us to gracefully untangle from past relationships that have run their course. Have the lessons been learned? Has karma been repaid? The mood around the 5th is nostalgic and "what if?" questions may arise.

But the North Node in Pisces opposite Venus acts as a divine compass. Where do you truly long to go and who is preventing you from fully embarking on this path? Don't you think that if there was something to fix, it would have been fixed by now? The Pisces North Node gives faith and trust in something greater than ourselves, as well as the impulse to turn around and walk another direction. At this stage, there's no need to know why. Intuition and synchronicities will show you the way, as reason has no power here.

This month, all personal planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus & Mars) make harsh aspects (squares & oppositions) to the outer planets (Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto). It's as if they have to ask permission and go through an initiation before continuing their journey through their new signs.

The outer planets act as guardians of the threshold. The personal planets represent the core aspects of our personality. When they meet the outer planets, our identity meets the deeper, broader and more complex aspect of the collective unconscious. The contacts with Pluto especially, trigger the shadow to light to be transformed into personal power, a symbolic foretaste of Scorpio season, the sign of the Underworld, which begins on the 23th. Observe who you are now and who you will be at the end of the month.

At the end of October, Mars in his home sign of Scorpio forms a beautiful Water trine with Jupiter in Cancer & Saturn in Pisces. For the first time in a long time, emotions find harmony and are expressed easily. We take accountability for our emotional state & well-being. This is a great time for therapy, opening up to people you trust, getting inspired, working with your intuition, making art, communing with the Divine, connecting to your Yin/Feminine side or simply enjoying going with the flow.
