Under the Sea (Poem)

A poem inspired by Pisces season

I find myself floating in the ether, Then at the bottom of the Sea. My essence submerged Under crystalline water.

Heavy as a rock, silence all around me, But for the sound of waves above my head, I am reminded of the womb that carried me, Before I became Someone.

My first home away from home, How peaceful it felt, Before I opened my eyes, Before I took my first breath,

And was welcomed to this Life.

I cannot breathe under the Sea, But the Sea lives inside of me.

She awaits silently,

Patiently, Amid the ruins of ancient cities,

For me to dive

Into her boundless, loving being.
